Elizabeth Durbin, founder of Milking Every Moment, is a Thompson Method Breastfeeding Educator and mother of two. With the implementation of The Thompson Method and support from the team, Elizabeth was able to exclusively breastfeed her first child for 5 months. She used her new found knowledge about breast milk production and babies’ oral function to begin bottle feeding, when she returned to work. With her second baby, Elizabeth overcame some early nipple pain and avoided nipple trauma using what she learned about fine-tuning and a support session with Dr. Robyn. It was the knowledge and confidence she gained through The Thompson Method that ignited her passion for breastfeeding and inspired her to help other women. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor Degree in Education and is looking forward to using her love of teaching and learning to help expectant mothers prepare for their own breastfeeding journeys.
